Abstract: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate differences in quality of life (QoL), cognitive deficits, mood disorders, functional handicap and fatigue level between men and women diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The subjects were 173 women and 63 men. The research was performed by using 2 questionnaires - RAND-36 and MFIS, which are specially adopted for people diagnosed with MS. Performed present research showed, that men diagnosed with multiple sclerosis quality of life is better then women, they are more resistant to a stress and have a higher level of emotional and physical functioning. Thus, men are more resistant to a fatigue than women. men have a less deficit in cognitive abilities
