dc.description.abstractThe article presents experience of adaptation of service-learning in higher education institutions. Advantages of service-learning named by partici- pants (lecturers, students, representatives of commu- nities) in the process of adaptation of the method, factors that stimulate and factors that limit effciency of the method are analyzed, and at the same time the aim is pursued to demonstrate complexity of these ac- tions, their interaction, by putting an emphasis on dy- namism of service-learning as one of civic education strategies in Lithuanian socio-cultural contexten
