Abstract: Tyrimo tikslas – nustatyti studentų patiriamo streso ir miego kokybės sąsają Covid-19 pandemijos metu. Tyrime dalyvavo 212 studentai (Vyrai – 25, moterys -187) kurių amžius nuo 18- 29, (M=22.68), SD=2.184). Tyrimas – kiekybinis. Siekiant nustatyti studentų patiriamą stresą buvo naudojamas Sheldon Cohen (1983) “Subjektyviai suvokto streso skalės klausimynas“ (Perceived Stress scale (PSS)). Miego kokybei buvo naudojama Buysse,D.J., Reynolds,C.F., Monk,T.H., Berman,S.R., & Kupfer,D.J. (1989) Pitsburgo miego kokybės indekso klausimynas (The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI)). Tyrimo metu nustatyta, kad studentai kurie patiria stresą miego kokybė yra prastesnė. Taip pat buvo atskleista, kad miego efektyvumas nėra susijęs su patiriamu stresu. Patiriamas stresas neturi įtakos miegojimo laikui. Taip pat tyrimas atskleidė, kad stresas yra susijęs su miego trikdžiais.
The aim of the study is to establish a link between student stress and sleep quality during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study included 212 students (Men – 25, Women -187) aged 18-29, ((M=22.68), (SD=2.184) The study is quantitative. Sheldon Cohen (1983) 'Perceived Stress Scale (PSS)) was used to identify stress experienced by students. Buysse,D.J., Reynolds,C.F., Monk,T.H., Berman,S.R., & Kupfer,D.J. (1989) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI)) was used for sleep quality. The study found that students who experience stress have poorer sleep quality. It has also been revealed that sleep efficiency is not associated with stress. There is no found that the stress experienced affects sleep time. Also, the study revealed that stress is associated with sleep disturbances.
