Abstract: SUMMARY Raster’s as a device of the express use in the visual express and education are being discussed in the work. Raster’s principle use, by developing the possibilities of the visual expression of the various age’s periods of the pupils, might be one of the methods which could help to develop creative personality. There are no scientific researches to attend this problem, raster’s importance not emphasize in the programs of art education and in the general standards of the education. There were used methods as ascertain research and practice teaching targets. The aim of the research was to elucidate pupils’ powers to use the raster’s principle and how it influences the visual expression of the pupils. The research objects were to survey raster’s as a technology of the printing trades and as a technology contemporary peculiarity; to analyse the role of the raster’s principle in the visual expression and it’s concrete use in the artists creation; to analyse the general programs and education standards and to clear up if the raster’s principle as a device of the expression use is mentioning and how much significance is giving in the programs of the various ages’ periods of the pupils; to investigate pupils knowledge in the raster’s principle use; to clear up the powers of the pupils to use the raster’s principle as a device of the visual expression in the art lessons by analysing the pupils works of art. The results of the research showed that pupils know how to creatively use this method of the visual expression in their plastic expression; that the visual express, surroundings and art cognition of the pupils is widening. Raster’s principle is use in the visual expression and in the works of art. The attention is not giving to raster as a device of the expression in the general programs and education standards, there is no systematic apportionment for this method of the visual expression. The results of the research showed that pupils do not have knowledge about raster and this principle use in the art and in the visual expression. The raster’s principle is not using in the pupils’ creative process at the art lessons. So, this new device of the visual expression might be promoted as the separate problem of the education.
