Abstract
Level of noise and vibration influencing operators of wheeled tractors is analyzed in this thesis. Vibroacoustic environment in tractor driver’s working place – cabin depends on sources of noise and vibration in the tractor (engine, transmission) and barriers, dampers which prevent noise end vibration to reach the driver (acoustic covers of cabin, engine and transmission, vibration dampers end absorbents). In the modern tractors vibroacoustic environment meets the EU requirements but there is still the big problem in the old technique. Studies have shown that some of the old tractors (when the driver has to work 8 hours per shift) would exceed the lower exposition value and whole–body vibration exposure levels exceed even the limits. In this case, a real opportunity for exposure restrict is only working time reduction. The analysis of the vibroacoustic environment levels of dependence on the year of manufacture of the tractor can be seen that levels in the tractor operator's position decreases in newer generation tractors.
