Pastaruoju metu mokslineje literaturoje pabrežiamas didelis savipagalbos programu poreikis, taciau atliekama mažai tokiu programu veiksmingumo tyrimu. Dažniausiai savipagalbos metodai remiasi savire&eksijos procesu. Šiame straipsnyje aptariamas i sprendimus sutelktos trumpalaikes terapijos teoriniais principais ir savire&eksijos procesu pagristas savipagalbos metodas ir jo veiksmingumas siekiant asmeniniu pokyciu. Metodai. Tyrime dalyvavo 236 Vytauto Didžiojo universiteto pirmosios pakopos psichologijos studiju II–IV)kursu studentai. Tiriamieji pagal tyrimo plana pateko i tris skirtingas grupes: i sprendimus sutelktos savire&eksijos grupe, nestrukturuoto stebejimo grupe ir grupe be poveikio. I sprendimus sutelktos savire"eksijos forma sudare dvi dalys: stiprybiu ir norimu pokyciu analize; pokyciu stebejimas ir ,ksavimas. Tiriamuju buvo prašoma 10)dienu stebeti, analizuoti ir specialioje formoje aprašyti norimos gyvenimo srities pokycius. Metodo veiksmingumui ivertinti buvo taikomi šie vertinimo metodai: pasitenkinimo svarbiausiomis gyvenimo sritimis vertinimas ir subjektyvus gyvenimo srities, kurioje tiriamasis labiausiai noretu pokyciu, vertinimas. Šie metodai buvo taikomi visu grupiu tiriamiesiems pradinio ir baigiamojo ivertinimo metu, iterpiant 12)dienu intervala. Rezultatai. Tyrimo rezultatai atskleide, kad i sprendimus sutelkta savire&eksija leido tiriamiesiems pasiekti reikšmingu pokyciu pasirinktoje gyvenimo srityje, nepriklausomai nuo lyties ir gyvenimo srities, kurioje ju noreta, ir nuopelnus už juos dauguma tiriamuju priskyre sau, o ne aplinkybems ar kitiems asmenims. Be to, teigiami pokyciai SSS grupeje apeme ir kitas svarbias gyvenimo sritis.
Recently there has been a noticeable increase in interest on self-help methods in psychological literature. However, the number of studies on the e/ectiveness of such methods is still small. Purpose. This study addresses solution-focused self-re&ection, a self-help method based on the principles of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, the elements of self-re&ection, and its’ outcome for personal growth. Materials and method. The study sample consisted of 236)psychology bachelor students of Vytautas Magnus University. There were three study conditions: solution-focused self-re&ection (137 participants), free observation (47) participants), and no intervention (52 participants). Solution-focused self-re&ection protocol consisted of the analysis of strengths and desired changes as well as keeping track of positive changes. Participants were asked to observe, analyze and record in the protocol the changes in the life area they had decided to change. During the initial and the ,nal evaluations, with a period of 12 days between them, participants of all three study conditions were provided with two assessment methods: evaluation of satisfaction with most important life areas and, a subjective evaluation of the life area chosen for change. Results and conclusions. Results revealed that solution-focused self-re&ection helps to achieve positive personal changes independent of participants’ gender and life area they chose to change. Participants attributed these changes to their personal e/orts. Besides positive changes in solution-focused self-re&ection, changes were recorded in other important life areas that were not chosen by participants to work on.
