There are three periods considering the essential changes that overtook all spheres of the country’s life; the authors analyze their character and influence on the development of the basic demographic processes. The changes in fertility, mortality and migration have produced immediate changes in the age structure. The aging, as the result of demographic processes, refers to an entire age structure becoming old. The paper discusses the directions of the population policy considering the aging process.103 107
