The article analyses well-being of social institution specialists at work. The attitude of the respondents to work is presented as well as evaluation of interpersonal relations of employees of social institutions. It is stated that social workers employed in social institutions assist other members of staff in solving organisationrelated problems. The reasons for well-being at work are analysed. The authors present peculiarities of interpersonal relations between employees of institutions providing social services and their executives, working conditions and work organisation. The emphasis is laid on the influence of social workers on the improvement of microclimate in these organisations.
