The Council is a collegial management body, which affirms the vision and mission of the University, the strategy offered by the Rector, discusses and approves restructuring plans proposed by the Rector, discusses and approves major decisions related to taking care of support for the university and perform other functions.

Member constituted by administration and staff representatives:
Dangirutė Steponavičiūtė, Finance Director of Vytautas Magnus University.

Valdas Adamkus, VMU Honorary Doctor, President.
