Scholar from University of Łódź Will Discuss Youth in Unprivileged Settings
On May 2–3, dr. Anita Gulczynska from the University of Łódź (Poland) will read lectures and a seminar at the VMU Faculty of Social Sciences.
On Monday, May 2, 4.15 p.m., at K. Donelaičio g. 52, room 403, dr. Anita Gulczynska will read a lecture titled Interactional Concept of a "Child on the Street" and Its Consequences for Street Work Orientation.
On May 3, 2 p.m., at K. Donelaičio g. 52, room 423, the guest will conduct a research methodology seminar Socially Engaged Grounded Theory Research – Reflection on the Example of a Research on Youth from an Unprivileged Neighborhood.
Anyone wishing to participate should register at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences, by sending e-mails to z.lukosiene@smf.vdu.lt. After the registration, students will receive an article by dr. Anita Gulczynska, which the visiting Polish scholar requests to read before attending her lectures.
It has also been announced that on May 2, 11.15 a.m., at the Faculty of Social Sciences (K. Donelaičio g. 52, room 322) dr. Anita Gulczynska will hold a lecture in which she will present the opportunities of studies with the Socrates Erasmus programme at the University of Łódź.
