Scholar from Dublin Will Discuss Irish Culture in European Context

On Wednesday, April 6, at 11 a.m., the VMU Dept. of English Philology (K. Donelaičio g. 52, room 514) will welcome a researcher from the Clinton Institute for American Studies at the University College Dublin, Grattan Lynch, who will read a lecture entitled "Irish Culture in the European Context”.

The title of Grattan Lynch’s dissertation is "Empires of the 21st Century". The scholar is interested in the development of international relations, global politics, the activities of the United Nations and the structures of the European Union.

The lecture will be read in English, you are welcome to participate.
