Registration for youth forum: Behind the Official Story

Lithuanian United Nations Youth Association (LUNYA) invites to register today to join LUNYA’s “Youth Forum: Behind the Official Story” taking place February 23rd at the Big Hall of Kaunas City Municipality. 

“Behind the Official Story” enumerates the theme of this Youth Forum – shedding light on people, places, and stories that are often swept under the rug.

Speakers from all over the world will be covering controversial topics concerning Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. These topics include the concept of Jihad, eyewitness accounts of life in Palestine, stagnation in the United Nations, global interconnectedness, and many more. 

Speakers will be announced/updated regularly on this event page and our website. The full program of Youth Forum will be announced one week before the event.

This event is free, but you must register here to participate.

 There are only 100 spots available. As participants will be selected on a rolling basis, the earlier you apply, the better.

More about the structure of the event:

Registration (signing in) to the event on the day of will begin at 14:00, at which point you will be able to check your coat in the cloakroom and will receive the program of the event as well as question sheets.

During the presentations participants can raise a hand and a LUNYA member will take their question sheet. After the presentation, questions will be given to the moderator. There will be around 15 minutes of questions and discussion allotted after each presentation.

Each participants will receive an official certification of their attendance!
