Prof. Detraux from Belgium to Read Lectures at VMU
On 28–31 October, Emeritus Professor of Psychology Jean-Jacques Detraux from the University of Liège (Belgium) will be visiting the VMU Faculty of Social Sciences. During his visit, the professor will hold lectures and seminars for master degree students of School Psychology.
Prof. Detraux’s research priorities include cognitive development of children with special needs, problems of their integration into society and in education institutions, issues of parent-expert cooperation while working with children who have special needs, etc. The professor is a well-known and respected specialist of his field. He is a member of the League for Children Rights, the Belgian Society of Psychology, Eurlyaid (the European Association on Early Intervention), Euforpoly (the European Group on Multiple and Severe Disabled Persons) and other organizations. He is also an expert for UNESCO.
Prof. Jean-Jacques Detraux‘s lectures and seminars will take place on 28–30 October from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 1.30 until 4.30 p.m. at VMU Building No. 3 (K. Donelaičio g. 52, Room 423).
