International Students to Teach Native Languages at VMU

ESN Lithuania and Invest in Lithuania are organizing language lessons by VMU international students, who will teach their own native tongue to everyone interested. The lessons are part of the project Multilingual Lithuania. Registration for lessons is open until March 9th.

This is a great opportunity to meet students from all over the world, and learn a new language and various interesting facts about other cultures.

“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart”, Nelson Mandela once said. The project gives everyone a chance to enrich their personality with the knowledge of another language. Thanks to international students, it’s also a way to get acquainted with a new culture, and to discover foreign traditions and customs.

The lessons taught by foreign students will take place weekly from 12 March until 17 May. The lessons will be held in English and the number of pupils is limited.

ESN VMU offers people to choose one (or several) of the following languages:

Everyone interested may register by sending e-mail to ESN VMU at multilingualvmu@gmail.com. The letter has to include the following information: your name, surname, e-mail address you use often, and the language you would like to learn. Registration deadline is March 9th.
