Happy International Students‘ Day
Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) wishes all university students a happy International Students’ Day.
“The most important university representatives are students: they are the ambassadors of knowledge, improvement and higher education. I am glad that the students of this university are active and not only thirsty for knowledge in the academic world, but also involved in the civic life”, VMU Rector Prof. Juozas Augutis explains.
“I would like to congratulate you all on this special occasion which symbolizes the strength of the students. During your path of incredible discoveries I wish all of you to collect amazing memories as much as you can, because years spent at the university cannot be repeated; I wish you courage to try new things and implement new ideas; and, finally, even more strength to take on all the challenges in your daily student life. Happy International Students’ Day!”, President of VMU Student Representative Council Greta Šmaižytė said.
VMU International Cooperation Department is delighted that the university’s community consists of active and intelligent students from various foreign countries whose different cultures create a new intercultural studying environment. We wish you all the best in learning, making friends, and carrying on with youthful enthusiasm.
