AYOL Announced a Competition of Presentations


With the financial support from the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Lithuania has launched Azerbaijan On My Mind, a new competition of presentations by Lithuanians and foreigners about the country of Azerbaijan.

AYOL is an organization founded by university graduates and students from Azerbaijan, including several from Vytautas Magnus University. This competition was initiated by Rovshan Jamalov, AYOL member who is an Azerbaijani master degree student of Finance and Banking at VMU.

Individuals eligible for participation are students and young researchers (18 to 29 years old). The presentation is required to analyze one of the following Azerbaijan-related topics:

  • Economy
  • History
  • Art, culture, tradition

The presentations may discuss events and aspects related to the last century, the last 20 years of Azerbaijan’s independence, or the latest decade.

Presentation Formalities

Presentations are to be sent by e-mail to azlit@ayol.lt via www.transfer.com before 22 March 2014. They should contain a minimum of 15-20 slides, be informative and use a creative approach. Presentation may be PowerPoint, Prezi, or other formats.

The competition’s winners will receive prizes.
