Apply now: Accommodation at VMU Dormitory
Vytautas Magnus University has opened the application for accommodation at VMU dormitory in in academic year 2017/2018 for all incoming first year full-time, Erasmus+, Bilateral or other exchange students, except for those, who are planning to start study at VMU in Spring semester of academic year 2017/2018.
In order to apply students must complete an online application form until June 10th, 2017. Students who make false statements or supply insufficient information will lose their right to be accommodated at VMU Dormitory.
Until July 1st, 2017 students will be personally informed about the results of the competition by receiving an email to their personal mailbox.
Conditions of Accommodation
All international students of Academic Year 2017/2018 will be accommodated only in VMU Dormitory No. 2 named “Baltija” (Vytauto pr. 71), which is located in the city center (Vytauto pr. 71, Kaunas) close to the university. Conditions of application for accommodation
The application for the dormitory is being organized in accordance with Description of Procedure for Residence Management at Vytautas Magnus University
The main conditions of provision of residence in the dormitory are:
- the promptness of filling the application
- the detailness of information which was submitted
The priority for residence is provided in consideration of students’ social status:
- for Orphans;
- for students with special needs (after taking into consideration their current ability to work). Accommodation of an accompanying person is possible after reaching an agreement with the Director of the Office of Student Affairs;
- for students from families who raising four or more children, who are studying at school or are students in higher education institutions;
