Ambasador of Romania Dan Adrian Balanescu Will Hold Lecture at VMU

On Monday 5 November, 1 p.m., a public lecture will be held at VMU Centre for Research and Studies (V. Putvinskio g. 23, Room 311) by Dan Adrian Balanescu, the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Latvia.

The ambassador’s lecture, “The Great Union – Romania’s Greatest Achievement”, will be dedicated to the centennial of the Great Unification of Romania, which occurred on 1 December 1918 and marked the unification of Transylvania, Bessarabia, and Bukovina with the Romanian Kingdom.

The public lecture is organized by the VMU Dept. of Political Science. The event will be held in English.
