Investigation of the influential factors on the desire and action evoked by advertising

The article presents the results of the research which was carried out in order to find out and explore the factors possessing influence over consumer behavior. Defined factors influence the suppression of desire (evoked by advertising) and the absence of action. The factors were grouped into controllable, mediate and uncontrollable. The article presents the results of analysis in each group.

Model of learning network organization

The main differences between "learning in organization" and "learning organization" are distinguished in the article, proposing that learning is the assumption for development of an individual and organization. Having analyzed learning and network organizations, their interrelations are defined, the steps of creating the learning network orgnization are discussed, and the original model of the learning network organization is introduced as the result.

Religion and management - components of moral strong economy

The paper deals with a link between religion and business, especially the morality issue of the latter. This paper contains analysis of managerial Biblical elements, religion and leadership relation after onto-psychology, economical results, which were influenced by religion and interpretation of “serving leadership” concept. There are suggestions for establishing moral business in Lithuania in the summary.

Implementing opportunities of strategic management in health care system

In the article the role of "think tanks"(strategic centers) in formation of strategic management and strategic architecture and also in achievement of strategic effect especially in the geo-economics areas is analyzed. From this point of view authors have tried "to establish" similar designing in management of Lithuanian health care system. Gender differences in management: myth or reality?

The article analyses gender differences in the management process, starting from the biological, inherent differences. The phenomenon of “glass ceiling” is being discussed. The results of the study deny hypothesis that men and women differently evaluate tactics applied by their managers, but confirm another hypothesis – there are more men than women in higher positions.

Employees and employers in in-service professional training: intersections and contradictions

This paper aims at analysing intersection and contradictions of employers’ and employees’ approach to in-service professional training. Empirical research enabled to identify employees’ approach to whether opportunities for learning are provided and what barriers can be identified; also, employers’ approach to the ways of provisons of these opportunities is identified.
