Custumer relationship management involves customer acquisition, retention and their win-back. Based on the methodology described in scientific literature the authors have applied the customer win-back methodology grounding it on the example of the Lithuanian telecommunications company AB “Lietuvos telekomas”.

The article argues that new EU members are susceptible to revaluating speculative attacks.

The article is meant to define the main motives and approaches to motivation in Lithuanian enterprises. There are examined the principles of modeling, that can be used in motivatin ? employees, and the models of employees’ motivation, that have been set during historical stages of enterprise management. The author analyzes the essential model of employees’ motivation, which could be applied in Lithuanian enterprises under changing market conditions.

This paper discusses the barriers and opportunities for internationalization for small and medium-sized firms in Central and Eastern Europe. The results of an empirical study of SMEs in five countries are presented and compared, and a general picture of the extent of internationalization and difficulties which still lie ahead is provided.

The article presents the analysis of health care quality evaluation methods. It reveals the limitations of the methods used for health care quality evaluation, depending on the area of interest of the researcher: representing medical research or service marketing research. The authors of this article offer a conceptual manner how to integrate these approaches into one coherent and applicable methodology.

It is expected that the transport chains of common European interest (the Trans-European Transport Networks) would foster economic growth and enhance competitiveness of Lithuania as an entity, and also its micro-regions, in the EU Single Market. The article addresses various aspects of interaction between transport infrastructure development and regional convergence processes in Lithuania .

ASSESSMENT OF GROWTH IN BANK CREDIT TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR

The paper examines the phenomenon of a rapid expansion in bank credit to the private sector. Two periods of rapid growth in bank credit to the private sector, different in their character and nature, may be distinguished in Lithuania . In 1994 an unstable credit jump or credit boom was recorded. The second period of rapid credit growth started in 2002 and has been continuing until now.
